YouTube XL なんていうのも出てきて、改めて 10-foot UI が浸透してきた印象。ゲーム機を中心に 10-foot UI が浸透してきたけれども、Wii に Opera が搭載されてたりするとウェブサイトも 10-foot UI になっていくのは自然な流れですね。iPhone はモバイルデバイスですが、意外と大画面でも使えそうな 10-foot UI として活用できそうです。
もう長いこと 10-foot UI というキーワードは世の中に存在していて、もはや死語なのかもしれないですが、やりたいことをシンプルに表現するという意味でも 10-foot UI はいいコンセプトだと思います。たくさんの細かい説明書きやツールチップテキストよりも一目でそれとわかるものを提示できたらいいですね。
