USBメモリの登録を消す方法
私のUSBメモリはSandiskのCruzer Miniです。ひょんなことから「ハードウェアの取り外しまたは取り出し」でデバイスを取り外そうとするといきなりWindowsの電源が切断され、再起動するという現象に見舞われました。おそらくドライバがおかしいのではないかと思い、セーフモードで起動したり、usbstor.sysやdisk.sysを削除してみたりしましたが、結局解消されませんでした。
そこでUSBメモリ 削除 レジストリ - Google 検索で検索しました。
自動的に再起動を繰り返すようになってしまいました。に対する解決方法が掲載されていましたので、それを参考にしました。
私はWindows2000でしたが、regedt32(regeditではありません)を使って、Disk&Ven_SanDisk&Prod_Cruzer_Mini&Rev_0.1のアクセス権を変更して、削除しました。その後、一旦再起動した後に、USBメモリを接続したところ、初回時と同様にドライバが自動的にインストールされました。タスクトレイのUSBデバイスのアイコンから「ハードウェアの取り外しまたは取り出し」を行い、Windowsが再起動することなく取り外すことが出来ました。
急におかしくなったときにOS再インストールといわずに、まずはレジストリを疑うのはありですね。
