Try Gow
Gow を試してみた。
Gow の Downloads リンクからインストーラがダウンロードできるんだけれども、ぼくは Gow-0.5.0.exe を試してみました。
インストーラの指示に従えばインストール完了。
さっそく Windows の「コマンドプロンプト」を立ち上げて、gow --list と入力。

今のところこれらのコマンドがコマンドプロンプト上で実行できます。
nippondanji の中の人がおっしゃっていましたが、やっぱり GNU/Linux にはかなうわけがないので、あくまで Windows を Linux ライクに使うためのツールですね。ファイル一覧を出すのに dir じゃなくて ls したいとかそういうためのもので Gow があれば Linux いらずなんてことにはならないので、やっぱりかゆいところに手が届かなくなりますよね。
Cygwin ももちろん試しています。1.7.9 を使っています。個人的には Cygwin の mintty は好みの UI です。まあ、Cygwin も Gow 同様に Windows を Linux ライクに使うものなので物足りない感じがありますよね。
ぼくは普段は USB ブートな Ubuntu を使っていて、書き込みが若干もっさりしててフラストレーションなのですが、Dell Inspiron Mini との相性は割と良くて満足しています。
coLinux は割と良かったけどもたまーにファイル書き込みとかでこけて「あーあの設定がなかったや」とかやっぱ Windows がメインになっている状態での Linux の共存はつらいかなあ。
VMWare や Virtual PC などの仮想マシンはネットブックではしんどいすね。
ってことでぼくは今のところは開発するときは USB ブートな Ubuntu で、その他は Windows 7 Starter という軟弱な感じです。
