PERL_RLIMIT_AS
検索エンジン使って調べたけどなかなかたどり着けなかったのでシェアしておこうと思います。
failed: 501 Can't load '/path/to/auto/Crypt/SSLeay/SSLeay.so' for module Crypt::SSLeay: libk5crypto.so.3: failed to map segment from shared object: Cannot allocate memory (Crypt::SSLeay or IO::Socket::SSL not installed)
mod_perl 上で動作するアプリケーションで上記のようなエラーが出てしまったです。
Cannot allocate memory
となっているからメモリが足りないだろうってのは想像できるのですが、free コマンドの結果では余裕がある。
(Crypt::SSLeay or IO::Socket::SSL not installed)
となっていますがパスの通ったところにインストール済みなのは確認したのでインストールしてないわけではない。
libk5crypto.so.3
とか明示的に利用してないし。
どっかメモリ制限してたかな、と思って探してたら見つけた！

PerlSetEnv PERL_RLIMIT_AS 32:48
via perl.apache.org
PERL_RLIMIT_AS で制限してたんだった。ので、これを増やして回避。
てか、同僚が前にそんなことを言ってたっけ。。。
とりあえずの out of memory 回避。PerlSetEnv PERL_RLIMIT_AS 512:512。
